VERTICAL SIDING

Board-and-batten siding is installed for a vertical application and often used as both sheathing and siding. Customarily the rough sawn boards are 1” thick in widths of 8”, 10” or 12”. Battens to cover the gaps between the boards are also 1” thick and 2”, 3” or 4” wide. Lengths for board-and-batten use range from 8’ – 16’.
